Glass Certification

Glass certification is the process of having your glass professionally assessed by a glazier to determine if it meets the glass and glazing standards AS1288. If the glass meets all requirements for the glass type and installation within the building, a glass certificate can be issued. Glass certification can now be required in obtaining an occupation certificate for new builds, new renovations or in acquiring the right certification to undertake business in certain buildings such as home day care centres, or for landlords in ensuring property compliance.

Glass certification requires one of our tradesmen to inspect the glass and perform some glass analysis tests to ensure it is compliant. To book this in, a call to our office will allow you to schedule a time for our team to complete the tests. Once completed if all glass is compliant a glass certificate can be issued. If some of the glass is non-compliant a quote for the glass replacement required can be provided.
